Who knew one can learn so much from a 13yo girl!! Her bull-headed stubborness and that all she could care about was the money......
Well I did, and I learned a lot. From a movie anyway. And every time I watch it, I get a knot in my heart... Have you seen it? I definitely think she deserves a full shot here on my journal. :-) I'm going to re-watch it again this weekend.

I used to love Zhang Yimou when he made these types of films. Then he went the route of making pretty but empty martial arts films. I hold out hope that he'll go back to making real movies again.

Yes, I have seen it! :) I too, was thinking about her this week, but the DVD is somewhere in storage. Perhaps I'll locate it this weekend while I am digging my way through all my stuff.
