Bumper Sticker

Ain't no lie.

Saw the above yesterday on the back window of this mini-van that I was tailing behind. It was a tiny decal and I loved it! It's so simple and something that we hardly think about, yet some people still outright and do! :-( Well, try not to analyze it [cuz there is still no Santa Claus!] and just read the 4 little words... I think it's wonderful slogan wouldn't you say? I just like it! Short n' sweet!

Anyway, onto other things... Going through email can be a P.I.T.A.! So I think I'm going to start 'replying' comments in the Comments section rather. I started doing that a while back, but somehow I stopped. Something quick and simple will do I think... If I need to elaborate more, I'll send an email in addition. I'll start replying from June 11th methinks. There... Settled! [That is until I change my mind again!]

Everyone have a great day today!! More later 'gator! xoxo

Don’t lie, period. To anyone, including to one’s self. Lying is the act of stealing reality and stealing other people’s right to make decisions based on reality. I hold liars and thieves in the same esteem and cannot see any difference between them. They are one and the same. At least that is my personal opinion on lying.

You're right. It's simple, but brilliant.

My two favorite bumper stickers of recent years are;

"My next husband is going to be normal"

and

"Since giving up hope, I feel much better"

Replying in comments is fine provided you don't mind the rest of the world reading it. Email makes me crazy, replyin to voice mails is worse. Any phone conversation more than 90 seconds is too long for me. If you wanna talk, just come see me.

[This is good]

Also: Behave consistently with kids.

My sticker would say:

"Fabulous. I am."

I lie to kids all the time...

Man, if I didn't lie to my kids I wouldn't talk to them at all.

Matt:

Oh yeah, the kids will always hold you account for e-v-e-r-y single word you've said to them, especially if you promise them a gift or a favor.

I couldn't agree with that sticker more. I wrote an entire post about death a few months ago asking parents to not lie about it. It just makes things worse in the end.

Pun not intended.
