And we're back! Nah, I don't want this entry to go on and on 'bout what we did on our vacation, blahblahblah... So I'll make it short. We had a wonderful time! I've always wanted to see the New England states. Flew into Boston and from there, we drove all over the place! We managed to visit 6 other states: ME, CT, NH, RI, NJ, NY and of course MA! On September 10th, I visited Ground Zero for the first time. The next day, we flew out of JFK back to southern Cal.
We also got together with a few bloggers, whom all I've met before... and a very, very good friend of mine from the early 90's! With our busy lives, we hardly talk these days, but as soon as we saw each other again, it felt just like old times! Thanks Evette, it was really good to see you again!
Also we met up with Alec's brother in Beach Haven, NJ. Saw a play which he helped out as a lighting technician. That kid got some mad skillz up his sleeves! Hello David! It was great seeing you and meeting all your friends! Oh wait, I don't think he knows my blog. heh!
Y'know meeting up with friends and family was really the best part of the trip, well actually that comes second to spending time with Alec! :-) Well there you have it, we were gone for 10 days and now we're back. Here are a few touristy pictures! My hair was a big mess, thank heavens I shaved it all off last night. Well almost all!
PS. Oright, we saw Xanadu on Broadway. The ultimate cheesy fun!

To the person who asked why those states are called New England...it's because that area was one of the first places the English pilgrims settled. So basically since they came from England for religious freedom (so it is written anyway), they just called this new place as NEW England. (New and improved, lol)

I was there in June, but I much prefer September to November there. Blogger meet ups can be fun and interesting. Hope you make it up north sometime -- i.e SF not the Yukon Territory. Though that might be fun too.
June? Doh! At least it wasn't July or August! :-) Yes Gregg, I must look you up when I'm up near SF some time! If you'd still be interested that's! :-)

Oh how exciting!
I love Boston and NYC. I really want to check out more of the New England states.
I'm waiting to see all those amazing photos you took buddy!
Yeah, Boston was bitchin'. New York wasn't hot but it was humid tho, but we enjoyed it just the same. I've still yet to head out to NYC during Xmas time to check out all the festivities! One of these days I hope!

Wow, looks like you guys had a really good time! Why are they called New England? :D
You were missed!!!!
Well, according to Wikipedia: "New England is a region of the United States located in the northeastern corner of the country, consisting of the states of Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont." The rest you'd have to read it yourself! heh!
Have you been to Boston, Kris? You should definitely go while you're still on the east coast. It's way worth it I think!

Xanadu!? I'm jealous AND appalled at the same time!
The funny thing is that I recognize many of the places in your pics... The first one is on Chandler's Wharf in Portland, ME. Alec was looking at the Ferry they made into a restaurant in that pic, right? That building on the wharf (right side of the pic) is where my Mom lived for many years, and where she had her boat moored!
Pack me in your suitcase net time, you bitch! Heheheh.
Yeah, Xanadu. Could you believe it? I remember seeing it twice in the theatre when it came out! Oops, oh who the f**k cares, everyone knows that I'm old! ha!
Yes, I think that's where we were. Some kind of wharfs... and that's where we took the ferry boat out and saw all the different islands! Were expect some kool-ass lighthouses tho, but all we saw were some fat, short and sqatty ones! ugh!
Oh you just called me a 'bitch'! I feel so loved! tee! :-)

I'm glad you enjoyed yourself! Xanadu is set for me in December. I can't wait!
We sat on the stage! Mostly we saw their backs, but who cares! Legwarmers rule! *doh*

I'm happy to see the two of you had a wonderful time and made it home safely. What a whirlwind tour!
I missed you! ;)
It was a whirlwind! 4 different hotels, 2 nights each. It was nice to see the different states. I think we would like to visit Alaska next! Who knows!
I missed you, too, K-A!
