Have you ever heard Discreet Music by Brian Eno? The new season is approaching, can you feel it? And it's always changing no matter how subtle... in time, summer will be back again. The cycle continues.
Similarly, people are like the seasons, too... Everyone's changing, but as for me, I seem to be just like the person I was before...

Everybody's changing and I don't feel the same... *whistles
I don't feel that I've changed either though some folks would beg to differ. My ways might have changed, but I'm same De when I was a kid...

Sometimes it's easier to see change in others than in ourselves. Yet the more we change, the more we stay the same. Such contradiction!

No matter the season, there seems to be a place for Brian Eno.

Yes, Discreet Music. I love me some Brian Eno!
Some people change in subtle ways and other drastically. I think I have changed, but at the same remain the same. I will always be a creative person, but creativity requires change.
So there you have it. I've lost my mind!

I was just thinking that the wind was changing this morning. Bars of sun bear down the city but fall is indeed descending upon us. Moon Fest is coming up as well on Sep 25. :)

The weather has been cool and autumnesque since Saturday, and I've been enjoying it. Joan and I ate by the open window at Raging Burrito yesterday, and it was wonderful. Today, I went for a walk around the park even though I had worked out that morning... just because the weather was too lovely to waste.
I can't say that I'm the same. Lately, I've been very motivated to do all the things I want to do. Fall makes me happy.
By the way, I've sent you a few emails, but they've bounced back.

You're only the same person if old friends keep saying that you are whenever you meet them (even more true if it happens without any prompting from you!) :)
Sometimes I feel like that too, that I haven't changed. Well, probably not much. Things I don't really notice until someone points it out to me *shrugs*

I think if you look back over the longer term, say 5 or 10 or 15 years, you'll see change. We all migrate from one thing to another. And sometimes back again! check out my post today "A Time to Die." It'll fit perfectly with your thoughts for today.

Lies! I can't handle the new you!
Kidding, of course. I'm sure you've changed, too, it's just that you spend so much time with yourself that you never notice.
