Last Thursday after our night out, when I was driving Jef back to his hotel, we were listening to my latest CD purchase, Bananarama's Deep Sea Skiving... And cutey Jef was all singing along in my car! Amazing how that boy knows all the lyrics to all their songs!!! :-) And what a voice! heh! 'til next time my friend!
Anyway, I bought the album when it first came out, and also a couple of import/domestic 12"s off that album. My two fave tracks are Cheers Then and Wish You Were Here. Not that I had friends to sing along with like Jef did, but these songs sure bring back some good ol' memories! Before I go, I'm dedicating this song - Wish You Were Here, to 2 very special "blogger-lovebirds"! You know who you guys are! :-)
So what were you doing back in 1983?

Hmmmm.....I think i know those lovebirds!
In 1983 I was just a tiny little brat doing typical kid stuff. It wasn't until Madonna's "Material Girl" came out that my true self began to blossom! Choreographed dance and all...those were the days!

I was probably working on a new hairdo, reading Smash Hits magazine, and practicing my lip synching skills (Thompson Twins most likely)....oh, and Thank You!

Let's see...1983. Living in Tulsa OK, dropping quaaludes with my ex-fiancee, living with my ex-fiancee, coming out with the help of my ex-fiancee, and enjoying a year-and-a-half break from an undergraduate nightmare.
