The Gothic Swan

Siouxsie.

I haven't written about music much for a long time, well here's one. Siouxsie's first solo album in her entire career! Su-weet! I don't think she needs much introduction. She ain't no Enya! [Doh! I said I wasn't gonna mention her again!] You can watch her video Into A Swan, it's small, but it loads pretty quickly. If it doesn't load, you can always find it on YouTube eh? Ah, you might want to stop the radio from playin' first. I wonder if she'll play here in Los Angeleees?!?

I've seen her about 3 times and she's a great performer. m00nchild is right, I didn't dig her last two Banshees albums much. I think my favorite song of theirs is still Dazzle [The Glamour Mix]... tho the Dream Time Mix V2.0 is also great, cuz it's almost 10 minutes long.

...it's a glittering prize!

gothic and swan do not go together in the same sentence!

I hope she travels the states. I haven't seen her since Lollapalooza #1 wayyy back in 1991! I really enjoy her new solo album, though I'll miss hearing her in The Creatures. I was bummed to hear her and Budgie broke up, and she's now a lesbian.

hey roberto!!
funnily enough i just bought mantaray yesterday. my fave so far is 'sea of tranquility'. i had tickets to see her a long time ago in london, but she broke her frickin' leg and the show was cancelled. i love 'fireworks' and 'happy house' and and and!!
hope you're swell gangsta
;0p

I'd never heard of her, but sure enjoyed her, thanks. You know I'd love to just go on a road trip with you Robert, I'm sure it be a lot of fun, I'd love to imagine the sounds of music!

isn't it: "it's a glittering pri-i-i-i-i-ize" ? i don't think anyone knows makeup better than this woman.

and i've NEVER seen her live and could kick myself for it. i had a chanced to see her back in 1986 and my parents wouldn't let me go. and other two times just didn't work out.

is she touring to support this release?

Jef:

I listened to this briefly online. I liked it for the most part, but I've become a singles download fan.

Peepshow is one of my favorite albums. I love "Kiss Them For Me," but I don't like Superstition as much. I like most of her singles from the 80s, but the Peepshow singles all have a special place in my heart.

I've downloaded "Two Times Blue" by Debbie Harry, but Debbie's solo albums tend to be mixed affairs for me. However, I do love Def, Dumb & Blonde.

well...here goes:

"Tag - you're it!"

The Confessions Meme

I love this song & that she's put out a new album....this lady just doesnt age I tells ya!...and if she comes to L.A., I'm going.

...and yes, that certain someone you mentioned is very nice indeed...he's caught my eye...and my heart....shhh!

I'm loving this new one as well as Debbie Harry's new solo album.
