This is how my brain feels [prolly looks like] lately... a big pulsating mush! hmm...
Have you finished your holiday shopping? I'm still working on mine. Getting stuff for coworkers is such a PITA! Yeah, YOU! ahaha, j/k! Actually for this year, I bought most of the gifts for my coworkers back in late September! woohoo! But I'm just finally finishing my cards today. Why do I always wait 'til the last minute? I don't know. I still have packages to send out and I'm afraid to head out to the post office. I'm a professional procrastinator.
Oh yesterday while I was working on my cards and licking an envelope, I paper-cut'd my tongue. *zoinks* I thought something like this would never happen, but it did. A good slice... yet bleeding that it was, it didn't hurt! Now you know!
Hmm... nothing much else to say... See, a blubbery mush I tell you! *toot toot*

A big yes to Penguin Cafe Orchestra! There stuff always sounds like it was pulled from some obscure, ancient corner or undiscovered treasures.

I hate papercuts, and yours is probably the worst variety of that :( Hope it heals up soon. Just done the shopping last weekend, heh

We're firm believers in NO GIFTS....excpet for extra special people. In general, our families do not exchange any. You'd be amazed at the pressure it has relieved...financially and otherwise...for everyone. Gives us extra time to focus on the more important things regarding the holidays. I wish you restfulness and calmness.

What a coincidence! That's what my brain looks like as well! Mine has become that way not for the same reasons but for getting too much sleep and lazing around on my holidays.
Best wishes to you during the holiday season!

Like usual, my presents will arrive after Holiday. I'm buying gift cards (again) so much easier than sending items my sisters won't like (I'll never forget the look of horror my one sister gave me when I gave her a chile wreath.
