Y'know I never talk about work or my job here on my blog, but today it's an exception! :-) The company that I work for [name withheld to protect the innocent! heh!] was bought out by Bank of America as of this morning!! Woohoo! It finally happened!
But I really don't know whether to celebrate or to get the f*ck out... least I'll have a year to decide since the integration occurs no sooner than 2009 - so they say! Maybe I'll stick around for the buy-out/severance package?! Maybe I'll get promoted/demoted before that?!? Or maybe I'll get fired before that!? Will I be a florist? Kidding, but the possibilities are endless!
If anything, at least this gave me something to blog about! heh! Happy Friday and have a great weekend everyone!! Much luff!

That's why I get nervous about being a contractor sometimes, since you're not sure when it might not get renewed or something. But then, there's so much things you can do out there if one doesn't work out. Like you say, the possibilities are endless..
One day, I wanna show up and deliver folks' packages in a UPS uniform. Dont'cha think they're hot!? Haha

I didn't know your worked for (name withheld)!! they used to be one of our larger clients until the shite smacked the fan. Good news that you still have a job, though. A friend of mine has been looking for work since November.

I'm sure it has both its ups & downs. I would be so stressed being in your situation. I don't like uncertainty so yeah I would be freaking out. However things turn out with work, I know you will be just fine! Hope you have a wonderful weekend too!
