Something experienced is its own explanation.

I supposed not everything needs an explanation, but I still find the above quote very moving... to me anyway. I guess it derives from the fact being that oftentimes, I have difficulties describing my own thoughts and feelings... I think I'll head out and take more pictures this weekend.
Hope everyone is having a great Thursday. xoxo

I suspect I was an archievest in a previous life (tho, I probably could actually spell it back then!) ...I am usually unable to explain most of the experiences that happen in my life, but often feel the need to record that the experiences happen -- because those experiences fade with the passing of time. Memory is an odd thing -- and, emotional memory is even more odd.
And, I wonder. Does a forgotten experience happen if a tree falls and there is no one around?
I've lost my point. Too tired.
I like the quote, tho.
Where are the pictures?!?!?

It can be hard to come up with explanation on some things. It can be quite a struggle since usually, the 'listener' already has this set idea on their mind, and pretty much wants one to validate it for them sometimes.
It's really difficult for me to express things at times too though. The experience alone seems to be enough, and explaining it doesn't seem to do it justice.
Hope you took some good pics!!

i've learned to instruct patients to give up trying to find an explanation to some of the things that haunt them - quite opposite to my Freudian training!
often there is no simple explanation; and even if it is discovered it often does'nt satisfy or appease.
so best to more on.

Explanations are often justifications woven specifically for the listener.

I suspect that the world is quite happy to go along its merry way, and that it's us that usually asks for explanations for things. I'm not even going to explain what I'm talking about because experiencing it is enough ;)
