After work while going south on the 405 freeway this afternoon, a 'funny' thing happened. You won't laugh nor chuckle, it's not that kind of funny. *insert happy smiley here*
Near the fork where the 405 splits into the 10 freeway, I was on the far right lane on the 405 and the 10 to my right coming up in about 200 yards. A big rig in a distance was to my left lane and flashing his right turn signal, trying to get to the 10 freeway. No cars were in front of me at the time and I braked enough to let the truck in. But the driver wasn't too quick and I guess I didn't break hard enough either since I don't want to completely stop while other cars were right behind me, and also I thought he might've left his blinkers on?!? I then sped up and so he can pass me.
So when he finally made his turn and was passing me on the 10, he honked and flipped me the bird! *ouch!* The 'funny' thing was that if I had let him pass me, he probably would've waved and gestured an appreciation. Very possibly. At any rate, I just thought it was kinda funny since we can let our emotions run from one extreme to another, simply in a fraction of a second! I find that interesting. See, I told you this isn't funny!
Have a great night/day everybaudy!
