You do know why Lucy always turned Charlie Brown down don't you? Lucy and Peppermint Patty were a lesbian couple. It was probably one of the reasons Lucy didn't like it when Peppermint Patty called her, "Sir." Charles Schulz wanted to introduce the two girls as such but then many school districts were going to boycott Schulz's works. ;-)

Sorry that I've not been over here for a while. Life's been a bit overwhelming lately. I just saw the American Master documentary about Charles Schultz who seemed to channel many demons through Charlie Brown, yet there was a sweetness and vulnerability about him.

That lovable blockhead has been a fixture around our house for decades. My Charlie has always considered Mr. Brown the brother he never had. I consider them both Good Men.
Love the pic. :)
