It is what it is (the holiday). It is silly to pretend it is not.
The true story of Christmas is very interesting (an party till you puke fest) which is paralleled by the shop till you drop current incarnation.

Oh, I do love me some Goldfrapp for the holidays! ...sadly, B seems to really dislike their Christmas tune. ...He always presses skip on apple tv when it starts to play. ...really annoys me.
However, i do feel that Hey Santa by Wendy & Carnie Wilson is the all-time best Christmas tune of all. Cheezy , sugaryyy , and a tune that refuses to not meld on to one's brain. Fun!
