This Oddity Called Time

moca.jpg

I dug this up last night and decided to put it up. Was gonna upload a music video, or take a new picture or maybe copy/paste something that, ahem, I didn't write... But rehashing old photos is much easier. Alec took the picture actually and I like it. I like all the pictures that he's in. But after 10 years' time, I still don't think we have enough pictures of us together. :-/

Well things are happening at work, but I'll disclose that on a later date. It's all good! Recently I found a few good friends on Facebook whom I have not talked to for over a decade. No hard feelings or anything like that, it's just that we got busy and moved on... and now here we are again! We were all younger then, and now, as if time had stopped and restarted again, picking up where we left off...

I used to volunteer at APLA back in the early 90's and that's where I met this one friend of mine. Found him last week on Facebook and last night he wrote me back an email. To sum it up, he said he lost his mother and father in 2000 and 2002, and his close friend on 9/11, second plane that hit the tower... I couldn't believe what I was reading. Such tragedies. But since then, he's gotten married and just had a brand new baby girl!!! Now, he's happy as a clam being a proud father and a husband. Happy ending. Oh Robert, I wish I could give you a big hug right now!!

It feels great to be reacquainted with them... like lost treasures. At any rate, I guess we all have a lot to catch up. For now, seems like time is all we have. How are you this lovely Friday??

Take care everyone. Enjoy yourselves [and each other] this weekend!!

My neck is kinked now from looking at this cute couple upside down. ;-)

How fortunate to be able to reconnect with those you've lost contact with. May the "treasures" be rewarding ones.

will:

And thanks to Einstein we now know it (Time for lack fo a better word) is all relative -- that is quantum mechanics shifts re: how things like time change as you approach the speed of light. Not that I drive that fast too often.

I always enjoy seeing the two of you together. For lack of better words, they are a complete picture of you. (no pun)

Per our last letter, hang in there. One door closes and at some point another opens. Gods, you know what I went through! You were a (are) a positive voice in my life. I will be the same for you!

You make a cute couple for sure, I just stood on my head for a better look, part of my thinking outside of the box!
Facebook is a good tool to find people if you want to connect with old friends, I have an account but almost never use it.

Yes, I DID turn my computer upside down to better look at the picture...

I avoided facebook for a looooong time, but have been found so many 'lost treasures' myself and am now very grateful.

You both are very cute!
